Terrell SuggsTerrell Suggs may have more than just a torn biceps to worry about.

The Ravens’ star defensive end was accused of punching his fiance in the neck and dragging her next to a moving vehicle with his children inside last month, according to the Baltimore Sun. His fiance, Candace Williams, filed a protective order against Suggs on Nov. 20.

Suggs was forced to surrender seven guns due to the temporary protective order as part of a state law that orders “someone to surrender firearms if they find there are reasonable grounds to believe the person seeking a protective order has been abused,” according to the Baltimore Sun. Suggs does not face criminal charges for the incident that took place in September.

“My fiance and I have two beautiful children together whom we both love and care for tremendously,” Suggs said through a statement issued on Friday. “The personal issues that the two of us have faced recently have been addressed in a responsible and adult manner and have been resolved. I am certain that we will get through this matter and move forward as a happy family.”

Suggs missed time early in the season with a torn Achilles tendon. He’s now attempting to play through a torn biceps injury.
