Hall of Fame guard Walt Frazier got into the holiday spirit a little early this weekend. The Knicks color announcer, as well as several other celebrities, distributed toys to children from all over New York City on Saturday.
Frazier joined talk show host Wendy Williams, Broadway stars Jesse L. Martin and Robert Cuccioli, actress Carol Alt, television stars Anthony Laciura and Grizz Chapman, Police Athletic League president New York City Police commissioner Raymond W. Kelly, and Clifford The Big Red Dog as part of the annual Holiday Party and Toy Drive. The celebrities assisted the real stars of the show, Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus, atop a double-decker bus.
The drive is sponsored by the New York PAL and CitySights NY, a sightseeing organization. The event brings more than 2,000 toys to children from all five boroughs, according to a news release.
