Week 13 NFL Lines Not Giving Lowly Eagles Much of a Chance Against Rival Cowboys

It may be hard to imagine, but there are only five weeks left in the regular season, and we have entered the December portion of the NFL schedule.

This may be the most wonderful time of the year for many, but in the NFL, it’s also the most important time of the year. This is the time of the year where you need to get on to a run to make the playoffs and build up momentum heading into the second season.

It’s also the time of the year where we see the slate full of divisional matchups, which is certainly the case in Week 13.

Seattle at Chicago (-3.5)

This should be a defensive struggle between two of the league’s best defenses, and a lot will be determined of the health of Chicago’s Matt Forte as well as the availability — or lack thereof — of the reportedly suspended Richard Sherman and Brandon Browner on the Seattle side.

Minnesota at Green Bay

The Vikings are just one game behind the Packers in the NFC North and wild card standings, with both teams looking to bounce back from losses in this rivalry matchup.

San Francisco (-7.5) at St. Louis

The 49ers went on the road last week and won with Colin Kaepernick under center, and they’ll have to do so again this week against the Rams, who put a beating on the Cardinals last week.

Arizona at New York Jets (-4.5)

Speaking of the Cardinals, they head to New Jersey to face off with the Jets in a pathetic matchup of two hopeless teams.

Carolina (-3) at Kansas City

The Panthers got a road win against the hapless Eagles last week behind a breakout week from Cam Newton, who will have to deal with a Chiefs defense that gave Peyton Manning and the Broncos a tough game last week.

Indianapolis at Detroit (-5)

This is a crucial matchup for both teams, especially the Lions, who are in danger of dropping out of the playoff race after losing a heart-breaking Thanksgiving day classic to the Texans.

Jacksonville at Buffalo (-6)

No one actually cares, right?

New England (-9) at Miami

It’s becoming increasingly tough to bet against the Patriots after a pair of beatdowns of the Colts and the Jets, but the nine points on the road against the Dolphins may scare some away.

Houston (-6.5) at Tennessee

The Texans throttled the Titans in the first matchup this season between these two AFC South clubs, and they’ll look to keep things going once again this week as road favorites in Nashville.

Tampa Bay at Denver (-7)

This is a real intriguing matchup between the upstart Bucs — who dropped a heartbreaker last week to the Falcons — and the Broncos, who are looking to solidify themselves as a real AFC contender.

Pittsburgh at Baltimore

The Steelers are hoping to bounce back from an eight-turnover performance against the rival Ravens in the two teams’ second meeting in three weeks; Pittsburgh will probably have to do so without Ben Roethlisberger, though.

Cleveland at Oakland

This will, in all likelihood, be a horrible football game.

Cincinnati (-2) at San Diego

The Bengals are playing real well, and they’re road favorites this week against a reeling Chargers team that needs to be put of its misery.

Philadelphia at Dallas (-10.5)

The NFC East, blah, blah, blah.
