Boston University, Northeastern Meet Friday on NESN at 6:30 p.m. in Beanpot Preview (Video)

Boston University and Northeastern are just a few weeks away from doing battle at TD Garden on the quest to Beanpot glory. Before they get to that, though, they’ll get together for a little appetizer.

The two Boston-based clubs will square off Friday night at Agganis Arena on the campus of BU in Hockey East action. That dogfight can be seen on NESN at 7 p.m., with pregame coverage set to begin at 6:30 p.m.

The Terriers find themselves right in the thick of the Hockey East standings, right behind Boston College and UNH, while Northeastern has struggled in conference this season. But it goes without saying that you can throw out the records when these two Beantown rivals get together.
