Bruins Open Training Camp to Public This Week, Including Black and Gold Scrimmage Jan. 15

BruinsThe NHL season officially begins Jan. 19. But if you can’t wait that long for Bruins hockey, there’s good news.

The Bruins are opening training camp starting Sunday at TD Garden, with a 1 p.m. on-ice session free and open to the public. Fans can come at noon, and free parking is available in the North Station garage from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Bruins will also be offering a fan zone experience during the time, with games and special appearances, including some giveaways as a thanks to fans after the lockout.

The rest of training camp will run from Sunday through Friday at either TD Garden or Ristuccia Memorial Arena in Wilmington. All sessions are open to the public.

On Tuesday, the Bruins will host the Black and Gold Intersquad Scrimmage at TD Garden at 7 p.m. The scrimmage is also free, but fans will need to get tickets, which will be available starting Monday at 11 a.m. either at TD Garden or at bostonbruins.com.

Tuesday, Jan. 15, TD Garden

  • Practice, TD Garden, 10 a.m. This session is closed to the public.
  • Black & Gold Intersquad Scrimmage presented by AT&T, TD Garden, 7 p.m.

Wednesday, Jan. 16, Wilmington

  • Practice, Ristuccia Memorial Arena, 10 a.m.

Thursday, Jan. 17, Wilmington

  • Practice, Ristuccia Memorial Arena, 10 a.m.

Friday, Jan. 18, Wilmington

  • Practice, Ristuccia Memorial Arena, 10 a.m.
