Destiny's ChildThe world already knew that Beyonce was set to perform at the Super Bowl this year, but it now appears that she’ll be receiving some familiar company.

According to US Weekly, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams will join Beyonce on stage at halftime of Super Bowl XLVII, meaning that for the first time in eight years, Destiny’s Child will be reuniting as a group to perform.

Regardless of the pop culture impact of the event, however, the trio will still have to put on a show, and judging by the strength of acts by Madonna or the Black Eyed Peas in recent years, might not have to clear a very high bar to measure up to what others have done.

However, when looking at the variety of acts from all of the Super Bowl’s 56 different halftimes, Beyonce and Co. will have some serious competition. While the days of marching bands are long gone, many of the pop and rock acts of the last 20 years have been able to put on plenty of memorable shows.
