Don CherryTeam USA beat the Canadians on Thursday in the World Junior Hockey Championships, and that has just about all of Canada reeling. The Canadians live for the tournament and expectations were sky-high heading into this year’s battle in Russia.

However, the Canadians were flat-out pasted by Team USA on Thursday, in the latest attempt for USA Hockey to gain even more ground in the world hockey arms race.

Don Cherry, who is one of the dominant voices of hockey both worldwide and in Canada, is not happy one iota. Grapes took to Twitter — actually, some poor CBC employee or intern took to Cherry’s Twitter page — to unleash a rant about the state of hockey in Canada. More specifically, Cherry is not happy about players from all over the world invading the Canadian Hockey League.
