The Bruins enjoyed one of their most exciting wins of the young season on Monday night in North Carolina and, like any great hockey game, tempers flared as the closing seconds ticked away.
As Tyler Seguin buried an empty-netter to seal the deal late in the third period, forwards Patrice Bergeron and Jeff Skinner were tangled up and exchanging unpleasantries in the Bruins’ zone. Bergeron, who rarely gets the mitts wet, was irked by what appears to be a quasi-slew foot by Skinner.
