If Kari Lehtonen wasn’t, you know, playing in goal for the Dallas Stars, the Celtics could think about asking him to come in for a tryout, seeing as he may have behind-the-back skills comparable to the recently injured Rajon Rondo.

Lehtonen showed off his dexterity with a great save Monday night. He took a puck off the front of him, batting at it with his glove, only to see it flip over his head and behind his back, where the goal awaited. But, never fear — Lehtonen’s backhand quickly came through in the clutch.

The Columbus Blue Jackets’ Jack Johnson, who fired the shot, couldn’t believe that he hadn’t scored a goal. But a replay from above soon showed that Lehtonen had managed to snag the puck out of the air before it crossed the red line.
