Boston Celtics v New York KnicksAnother storyline has been added to the recent feud between Kevin Garnett and Carmelo Anthony.

The two stars exchanged heated words in the Celtics’ 102-96 win against New York on Jan.7, resulting in Anthony waiting outside the Boston locker room following the game. Since then, reports have surfaced about Garnett’s trash talking, mainly focusing on Anthony’s wife.

The two stars will have another month to defuse the situation, as they will spend the weekend as teammates during the 2013 All-Star Game in Houston, Feb. 15-17. Thursday night, the NBA announced the starters for the annual All-Star Game with Garnett and Anthony joining LeBron JamesDwyane Wade and Rajon Rondo in the Eastern Conference’s starting five.

The Western Conference will start Chris PaulKobe Bryant (the top vote getter), Kevin DurantBlake Griffin and Dwight Howard.

The Celtics-Lakers rivalry will also be a subplot of this game, as the two most storied franchises in NBA history each have a pair of starters. However, the Lakers are no longer the talk of Hollywood, with Paul, Griffin and the Clippers 12 1/2 games better than the Lakers in the Pacific Division standings.

The reserves for the All-Star Game will be announced on Jan. 24.
