The final decision has been made. Keyon Dooling has announced he will not play for the Celtics this season.

Since Rajon Rondo was ruled out for the season, speculation began about the possibility of Dooling returning to Boston this year. Dooling ruled out all possibilities Monday afternoon via his Twitter account.

The Celtics still have two open roster spots since they learned of Rondo’s injury, and president of basketball operations Danny Ainge may look to fill those spots on Boston’s bench soon.
