After two concussions over the course of seven months, it was a legitimate question whether Nathan Horton would ever see the ice again.
The Bruins organized an informal practice ahead of the team’s abbreviated post-lockout training camp, and Horton was there, rejoining his teammates for the first time since January 2012. The good news for Horton is that he has long since recovered from his latest head injury, and would have been ready had the season started on time. Now, all that’s left is to get into some game action.
