Ray Lewis Says He ‘Was Hurt’ When He Saw Retirement Billboard Outside Boston

Of all the people in the world to give extra motivation to, Ray Lewis would not be one.

But alas, some Massachusetts folks thought it was a great idea to give him a little poke on an Interstate 93 billboard before Sunday night’s AFC Championship Game.

The Ravens won that game, of course, and Lewis had words about the billboard after the victory.

“I was hurt when I saw a sign that actually said my retirement would [start] tonight,” Lewis said, according to The Boston Globe.

Too bad about the hurt feelings, Ray. But at least you’ve inspired another creative billboard, as @MassBillboard has responded with this follow-up to the incorrect prediction.
