Boston Red SoxIt’s been a cold week in Boston, but that hasn’t stopped a number of Red Sox players from going out and touring the city.

Jonny Gomes, David Ross, Ryan Kalish and Daniel Nava spent Wednesday traveling around Boston, visiting sites from Bunker Hill to Beacon Hill and Copley Square to Kenmore Square.

The Sox quartet shared plenty of laughs during their adventure, which included a trolley tour, a USS Constitution visit and a stop at the Massachusetts State House. It wasn’t just for their own enjoyment, though — although they had a blast in the process. Instead, they wanted to get out there and interact with those Bostonians who were brave enough to weather the elements.

Don’t worry. In addition to checking out the sights, the Red Sox players gave out some Dunkin’ Donuts hot chocolate and doughnuts to make sure everyone was warm and nourished. What perhaps made fans warmer, though, were the Red Sox tickets given away throughout the day.

It might not feel like it just yet, but baseball is fast approaching. Check out the awesome tour these guys were able to enjoy before heading on down to spring training in a couple of weeks.
