Rudy GayGrizzlies leading scorer Rudy Gay is reportedly bound for the Great White North.

ESPN.com’s Marc Stein reports that Memphis has agreed in principle to ship Gay to the Raptors in what is being described as potential three-team deal.

Stein quotes sources saying that the Grizzlies will acquire forward Ed Davis and guard Jose Calderon from Toronto, but that Calderon will likely be moved to another team as part of the trade. Memphis center Hamed Haddadi will reportedly join Gay in Toronto.

The Pistons and Mavericks are reportedly the two prime candidates to complete the three-team maneuver, as the Grizzlies have their sights on Dallas’ Vince Carter and Detroit’s Tayshaun Prince and Corey Maggette.

Gay, a first-round pick in 2006, is shooting 40.8 percent from the floor and 31 percent from three-point range — both career lows — through 42 games with Memphis this season.

Update: Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports that Detroit will be the final team in the mix. The Pistons will send Prince to Memphis in exchange for Calderon.
