Mike D'AntoniAlthough the Los Angeles Lakers have a number of issues to tackle the rest of the season, it appears that their head coach will not be one of them.

The Lakers are not considering firing Mike D’Antoni, according to the Orange County Register.

Signed to a three-year contract, D’Antoni replaced Mike Brown in November and has since led the Lakers to a less-than-impressive 12-20 record.

With trade rumors beginning to swirl that Dwight Howard could potentially be on the move, the rest of the dreadful Lakers’ season could produce a different result in the second half. Trades or changes may be coming for LA, but D’Antoni should be right there leading the way.
