Taiwanese Animation of Manti Te’o's Girlfriend Hoax Features Drunk Leprechauns, Absurdity Galore (Video)

Capturing the absurdity of the Manti Te’o girlfriend hoax is difficult to do at this point. The good folks at Next Media Animation, however, appear to have done just that.

The Taiwanese animation firm, known for its outrageous and outlandish recreations of current news events, has stepped up to the plate once again to tell the tale of the Notre Dame linebacker whose girlfriend did not in fact exist. Complete with drunk leprechauns, digital reporters and a robot, this “recreation” does not disappoint.
