Some Bruins fans may have been wishing that the lockout would be just the rest that Tim Thomas needed, and that the veteran goaltender would be back for the B’s when the truncated seasons begins Jan. 19.
That’s not the case, but Bruins general manager Peter Chiarelli did have some good news when he chatted with the media Sunday morning as the B’s prepare to finally play hockey. Peter Chiarelli confirms Tim Thomas will not be coming to camp or playing this year. But says Thomas wants to play next season. #Bruins
