Tyler SeguinWhether it was averaging nearly a goal a game on the ice or grappling with famous European wrestlers off the ice, Tyler Seguin‘s tenure with EHC Biel in Switzerland sounded like it couldn’t have gone any better.

But then he left, and that’s where things went south.

Earlier this week, while Seguin was Stateside preparing for the NHL season with his fellow B’s, a foreign tabloid decided to run a story on how the Bruins’ sniper basically lived like an animal while tearing up the Swiss league.

Seguin denies the reports, calling it very unprofessional and untrue, according to WEEI.com.

“I was blown away with everything. It was very unprofessional,” Seguin said of the report. “I don’t want to talk about it too much, but everything there was 100 percent untrue. I don’t know if it was because I was one of the only guys on the team to ask for a cleaning service, but it was just something that I’ve always had. I didn’t see the big deal in it [since I was] traveling and such. I was very disappointed in that. It was very unprofessional of them.”
