BC ProvidenceIn a world where many college football teams rotate their uniforms on a weekly basis, college hockey teams haven’t bought into that trend.

You’ll see some minor tweaks from year to year, sure, and a fair share of squads will break out their throwbacks on occasion, but the overall identity of each uniform set remains largely consistent.

Hockey East, one of the nation’s premier collegiate hockey conferences, is no different, as it would be shocking to see Boston College take the ice in anything other than maroon, gold and white. And while the conference boasts some of the nation’s most skilled players, it also features some of the sport’s most recognizable jerseys.

So what do you think? Are you a fan of the bright red of Boston University and Northeastern or the deep blues of Maine, Merrimack, UNH and UMass-Lowell? The distinctive maroon of BC and UMass, the stark black and white of Providence or Vermont’s unique green and gold?

Vote for your favorite sweater in the poll below.
