Terrell Suggs is on a roll.
In addition to providing his typical anti-Patriots remarks to WEEI on Wednesday, the Baltimore linebacker also took some shots at the 49ers — the team his Ravens defeated in the Super Bowl earlier this month.
During an interview with KNBR 680-AM in San Francisco, Suggs was asked his opinion on cornerback Cary Williams‘ assertion that the Niners were full of “fake tough guys.” Never one to turn down an opportunity to talk smack, Suggs told the radio hosts that one of those “fake tough guys” plays on San Francisco’s offensive line.
He wouldn’t specify who he was referring to, but then proceeded to praise every starter on the Niners line except right tackle Anthony Davis. Angered by this dig, Davis blasted Suggs on Twitter, calling the linebacker an “[expletive] loser” and insulting his two-tackle performance in the Super Bowl. Check out the series of tweets below (with some of the more vulgar ones removed).
We went head to head in the Super Bowl. He made no plays.
