Alex Morgan Looks Like Katy Perry in ESPN the Magazine’s ‘Music’ Issue (Video)

Alex Morgan had a big year in 2012, and the American soccer star is going full steam ahead in 2013.

Morgan poses in ESPN the Magazine’s “Music Issue,” (where athletes recreate famous album covers) as Katy Perry. Morgan did a photo shoot mimicking the cover of the pop star’s 2008 album One of the Boys.

The U.S. Women’s National Team forward enjoyed the experience. She was particularly fond of the bright red lipstick and big curls in her hair, but she wasn’t wild about the process of perfecting Perry’s pose.

Morgan added that she and Perry have something in common. Both of them are famous and, if only for a moment, look alike. They’re also role models for young girls, but that’s where the similarities end.

Morgan admits she can’t sing like Perry. She also never married any British comedians, so far as we know.
