One would not expect to find many similarities between Alex Rodriguez and Lady Gaga, but the two do share the same surgeon and hip condition.
Gaga, who was expected to conclude her world tour, underwent hip surgery Wednesday at the New York Hospital for Special Surgery to repair a labral tear in her right hip.
“I’ve been hiding a show injury and chronic pain for sometime now.” Gaga said. “I could not walk.”
Prior to the singer’s procedure, Rodriguez was in attendance for a follow-up appointment with Dr. Bryan Kelly, according to the New York Post.
There is no timetable for Gaga’s next appearance, but A-Rod, who injured his hip during the 2012 regular season, is expected to miss at least half of the 2013 season after undergoing the same surgery in January.
“I am conducting two rehab sessions each and every day in an effort to get back on the field and rejoin my Yankees teammates,” the Yankees slugger said.
The two did meet and talk about the process together.
