There will be no hockey in Boston on Saturday night.

The NHL announced that Saturday night’s Bruins-Lighting game has been postponed due to the weather-related State of Emergency that remains in effect in Boston.

“Although both Clubs and the assigned on-ice officials are in Boston, travel conditions remain too hazardous for fans, security personnel and TD Garden staff to get to the arena,” the league released in a statement.

The game was originally scheduled for 1 p.m. before getting pushed back to 7 p.m. There is no make-up date scheduled at this time.
