Nemo has turned Saturday matinee hockey into Saturday night hockey.

The Bruins and the NHL announced Friday that their Saturday game with the Tampa Bay Lightning, originally scheduled for 1 p.m., will now start at 7 p.m. at TD Garden.

NESN coverage begins at 6 p.m. with Big Bad Bruins Live followed by Bruins Face-Off Live at 6:30, all leading up to puck drop from the Garden at 7 p.m.

The decision comes as Boston and the rest of New England brace for Winter Storm Nemo, which is expected to dump up to 2 feet of snow (and maybe more in some places) on the region.

The Bruins aren’t expected to hold a morning skate prior to the game.
