DeAndre Jordan has become known for his thunderous throwdowns in his short NBA career, but his forte fell slightly short Monday against the Philadelphia 76ers.
In an attempt to convert an alley-oop pass from fellow teammate Chris Paul near the end of the second quarter, Jordan mistimed his leap a bit and fell short of the rim with his ensuing jam. The 24-year-old center took matters to the official, asking for a blocking call on Philly’s Evan Turner, but even Clippers coach Vinny Del Negro wasn’t sticking up for his player after the embarrassment.
