New England’s love affair with Dougie Hamilton has been very well-publicized. Hamilton’s early season success has now another chapter, as No. 27 has netted his first career goal.

The official time of the goal was 17:56 into the first period, a time Hamilton will likely never forget. Teammate Milan Lucic made sure to grab the puck out of the net for Hamilton, and that puck will be one of many pieces of memorabilia that Hamilton will likely collect throughout his promising NHL career.
