Jackie Bradley Jr. Making Surprise Push for Spot on Opening Day Roster With Red Sox (Video)

After a breakout 2012 campaign in the minor leagues, Jackie Bradley Jr. is now making an impression on the Red Sox’ major league staff.

Last year Bradley, still just 22, made the jump from Single-A up a level to the Portland Sea Dogs, and seemed poised to break onto the scene in Boston in 2014. However, those predictions may need to be adjusted with Bradley’s early-spring effort, as the outfielder is now thoroughly vying for a spot on the Sox’ Opening Day roster.

Check out the video above to learn a little more about Bradley’s diverse abilities.

Aetna Strikeouts for A Cause

For every strikeout by a Red Sox pitcher at Fenway Park in June, Aetna will donate $250 to Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program. Through June 25, the donation mark stands at $30,000.

Through their continued efforts in the local community, Aetna is helping to build a healthier world -- one city and one strikeout at a time.
