Olympic gold medalist, goal-scoring record-breaker, and winner of four consecutive Ballon d’Or awards for overall achievement and dominance, Messi has quite simply established himself as the best in the business.
But a new Herbalife commercial proves that Messi is much more than just a half-decent soccer player.
After lacing up his cleats, the 25-year-old Argentine takes his talents to the cricket field in a tense one-on-one matchup.
This is not the first time Messi has brought his exceptional footwork to unlikely territory. He’s also proven his mettle in basketball and ping-pong in previous Herbalife ads over the years. Who knows what kind of playing surface he’ll dominate next, but chances are he’ll find a way to break a record or two.
