The Milwaukee Brewers are missing their mascot.

“Guido,” the Klement’s Racing Italian Sausage who competes against the Bratwurst, the Polish Sausage, the Hot Dog and the Chorizo during games at Miller Park, has gone missing after the costume was stolen Milwaukee’s Winter Festival.

Police say the costume was nabbed from a fundraiser at the Milwaukee Curling Club, and someone was spotted wearing the costume at area bars later that night.

“We thought it was funny at the time,” detective Jeff Vahsholtz said. “Now we’re just hoping someone returns it.”

The detective continued to they aren’t sure if they will file charges regarding what is being called “an elaborate prank.”
