O.J. SimpsonOh, O.J. Simpson. It seems even in prison you can’t stay out of the spotlight.

Last we heard from the man famously acquitted of murdering Nicole Brown and Ronald Goldman, his robbery conviction was set to be reopened due to the incompetence of his representation. That, and he was also rumored to be the father of Khloe Kardashian for some reason.

Well, it seems that Simpson isn’t getting out of prison any time soon, as the reopening of his case appears to have led nowhere, and the former NFL star isn’t eligible for parole until 2017 at the earliest. However, this time it’s what Simpson is doing behind bars that’s attracting attention.

According to the New York Post, Simpson held a Super Bowl party inside his cell at Lovelock Correctional Center in Nevada. According to the report, inmates can earn money to buy various items, and Simpson is one of the few inmates at the prison to own a TV, making him a natural choice to host the festivities for his fellow jailbirds.

However, more information than just that is coming out about Simpson’s time in prison. According to the same Post report, Juice has become quite the popular figure, with a friend of his referring to him as the “Godfather” of Lovelock. Beyond that, a National Enquirer report (so, you know, take it with a grain of salt) says that Simpson has become gay behind bars, or at the very least spends a lot of time hanging out with the prison’s openly homosexual sect — and that they refer to him as D.J. for “Daddy Juice.”

So, if we hadn’t hit the mark for oversaturation of Simpson in the mid ’90s, well, we’re certainly there now.
