Pat Riley‘s ocean-front mansion is considered perfect by just about anyone who has laid eyes on it.
The person who dropped $16.8 million on the property last March, however, isn’t one of those people, as the new owner plans to demolish the existing mansion, according to The Miami Herald.
“Most people would move in and be perfectly happy, but clients are looking for perfection — really good stuff,” Jorge Uribe, a senior vice president at One Sotheby’s International Realty, told The Herald.
“The trend in the last several years is a demand for very high-quality product. People are looking for really good locations, really good materials, and they’re willing to pay for it,” Uribe added.
