Patrice Bergeron Takes Advantage of Lightning Defensive Lapse to Extend Bruins’ Early Lead (Video)

The Lightning are mostly known for their prolific offense, and on Thursday they had a defensive lapse that allowed the Bruins an early two-goal lead.

Patrice Bergeron was ignored by a few Lightning defenders who had their eyes on the puck and not the open man, and the Bruins assistant captain was able to slot home a one-timer. Of course, credit the Bruins’ forecheck for making the play happen in the first place.
