Hockey has three-on-two rushes, four-on-fours and maybe two-on-threes. But rarely does an essentially one-on-six rush yield a goal.
Pavel Datsyuk showed why he’s regarded as one of the best in the game Tuesday night when he wove through the Predators’ defense to bag a goal that may go down as one of the best of the year. While Nashville hung on to win in overtime, the clinic from Datsyuk had to have Red Wings fans feeling that no game is out of reach with that guy on the ice.
