Red Sox Truck Day Is Sign of New Season as Fans Gather to Celebrate Return of Baseball (Video)

It was a chilly day in Boston on Tuesday, but it was also Truck Day, a reminder that spring (training) is right around the corner.

If you’ve never heard of the Truck Day phenomenon, you might think it a bit of a strange tradition. Nonetheless, for many in Red Sox Nation it’s a chance to remind themselves that a new season is upon the Sox, and warmer days are around the corner. Larry Lucchino and Will Middlebrooks showed up, too, to take part in the festivities.

Aetna Strike Out Homeless

For every strikeout by a Red Sox pitcher at Fenway Park in June, Aetna will donate $250 to Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program. Through their continued efforts in the local community, Aetna is helping to build a healthier world -- one city and one strikeout at a time.
