While Reeva Steenkamp‘s family and friends mourn her loss, the producers of Tropika Island of Treasure 5 plan to air the upcoming reality series as is, despite the death of one of its stars.
Steenkamp was a contestant on the show, which will be airing its season premiere on Feb. 16. The budding reality star was allegedly murdered this week by her boyfriend, Olympic track star Oscar Pistorius.
“We are deeply saddened and extend our condolences to Reeva’s family and friends,” a message reads on the show’s website.
