The Big Show is moving on without the Big O.

Glenn Ordway is out as WEEI’s afternoon drive-time co-host, as first reported by The Boston Globe’s Chad Finn. Ordway confirmed the news himself at the start of Wednesday’s show, while promising listeners the most “honest” show he’s ever done.

Mike Salk will reportedly take over for Ordway and is expected to co-host with Michael Holley, Ordway’s current partner. Salk previously hosted Boston Radio at 1510 AM and the ESPN 890 and, according to Finn, was “heavily pursued” by WEEI to replace Ordway. He currently has been co-hosting a weekday morning show on ESPN Radio in Seattle with former Seahawks quarterback Brock Huard.
