How do you say “Manny being Manny” in Taiwanese?
That could soon be a concern for many baseball fans, as slugger Manny Ramirez might be joining a Taiwanese baseball team. According to FOX Sports’ Jon Morosi, Ramirez and the EDA Rhinos are “in talks,” although it’s unclear how serious the two sides are.
Morosi also points out that Ramirez traveled to Taiwan with the Dodgers before the 2010 season, so he has at least visited the country once before.
The Rhinos are one of four teams in the Chinese Professional Baseball League, and went 45-72-5 in 2012. They finished in last place for the second straight season.
