After a long vacation, Rob Ryan has finally found a home.
The New Orleans Saints plan to hire Ryan, who was fired as the Dallas Cowboys’ defensive coordinator, to the same position, according to ESPN.com’s Adam Schefter.
Ryan was fired by the Cowboys on Jan. 8 and has been brought up in coaching discussions around the league since. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said he was making drastic changes after “America’s Team” went a dismal 8-8 this past season.
After he was fired, Ryan said, “I’ll be out of work for like five minutes.” It took a little longer than that, but now it appears that, at the very least, Ryan is employed again.
