Mike HolmgrenMike Holmgren may be looking to take on a new front office role for an NFL team, and according to reports that team may be the Oakland Raiders.

The former Seattle Seahawks head coach will take on a “possible leadership role” with the Raiders, according to ESPN’s Bill Williamson. Holmgren, who was intrigued by a potential head coaching position with the Dallas Cowboys in recent years, has received a fair amount of interest from the San Diego Chargers regarding their open head coaching slot.

Holmgren is likely interested in Oakland because of the team’s hiring of his former co-worker with the Packers Reggie McKenzie as general manager in 2012.
