Rob GronkowskiRob Gronkowski has enjoyed quite the eventful offseason so far while waiting for his twice surgically repaired left forearm to heal. Well, let’s make that three times surgically repaired.

Gronkowski had a third surgery on the injured forearm last week, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Field Yates. This surgery was less serious than the first two and stemmed from an infection during recovery rather than a straight break.

The infection was caught early enough that it shouldn’t throw off his recovery timeline or cause him to miss any extended time. The surgery is also the likely culprit behind Gronk pulling out of his duties as the red carpet correspondent at the Oscars on Sunday.

Gronk has been spotted dancing shirtless, body slamming friends in Las Vegas, he’s been offered a contract to do porn and even jokingly sported a “Sorry for Partying” T-shirt out and about already this offseason. Needless to say, it’s been a very busy month or so for the All-Pro tight end.

His third surgery does pose a minor setback, but as far as we can tell it, like the other two, has nothing to do with him dancing or partying. So, let’s not jump to conclusions too quickly, here.
