Ronda Rousey made history by winning the first ever women’s UFC match on Saturday night, and the entertainment world has taken notice.
Rousey was offered a role in an upcoming Hunger Games sequel, according to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer. The second of the four Hunger Games films, Catching Fire, has already been filmed, so the UFC star would likely have a part in the third installment, Mockingjay (Part I).
Rousey beat Liz Carmouche in the UFC 157 headlining match with an armbar. Rousey won the bout with 11 seconds remaining in the first round.
Rousey would star alongside new Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence in the Hunger Games sequel. Lawrence is signed on for Catching Fire, Mockingjay, Part I and Mockingjay, Part II.
