Report: Terrell Owens Confronted by Police After Refusing to Leave Woman’s House

Feb 16, 2013

Terrell Owens used to annoy opposing NFL defenses with his brand of physical play at wide receiver and his brash celebrations. Now that his pro football career is over, he’s causing disturbances at 4:30 in the morning knocking on doors — and no, not ones that belong to NFL general managers, at least not yet.

Owens was confronted by police after banging on a woman’s door for three hours, according to TMZ. Owens was not arrested, and left the premises when asked by the cops.

The woman said she was not afraid for her safety, but Owens was refusing to leave when asked.

The six-time Pro Bowl wide receiver last played for the Seattle Seahawks during the 2012 preseason. He caught two passes for 41 yards. He was signed on Aug. 6 and released Aug. 26. His last regular season appearance was back in 2010 with the Bengals.

“To have [Erik Karlsson] taken out by a goon is unconscionable. Whether it was accidental, or whether it was reckless, or whether it was intentional, to me it doesn’t matter. It’s something that never should have happened. [Matt Cooke] should never be playing in this league. It’s a league for elite players.”
