When Rob Gronkowski was growing up, he always dreamed of playing in the NFL. But it looks like he may have dreamt of a wrestling career, too.

Gronkowski’s broken left forearm forced him to miss the Patriots’ AFC Championship Game loss to the now-Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens, but it’s not keeping him from perfecting his favorite WWE wrestling moves.

Gronk, who was spotted partying with his shirt off down in New Orleans over the weekend, apparently made his way out to Las Vegas on Sunday night to partake in some Super Bowl festivities of his own.

He spent his time dancing the night away, much like his controversial antics after last season’s Super Bowl loss, but this time he decided to impersonate one of his favorite wrestling idols and throw down a patented Jake “The Snake” Roberts DDT on one of his buddies while on stage.

Patriots fans can take a collective sigh of relief — Phew! — though, as the big tight end sprung right up off the floor and continued on dancing, showing no signs of further injury to that left arm.

The Patriots will need Gronkowski to be healthy for the start of next season, as his absence clearly hurt the Patriots’ Super Bowl chances this season. So, while he’s free to enjoy the offseason as much and in any way he pleases, Bill Belichick can ill afford for him to be breaking any more bones with Stone Cold Stunners or Rock Bottoms. I guess it’s a good thing he didn’t attempt a “People’s Elbow,” at least.

Check out what should be Gronk’s WWE tryout in the video below.
