Tyler EifertThe NFL combine has concluded and plenty of players set themselves apart from the rest of their competition both positively and negatively.

It seems like ages ago, but Lane Johnson and Terron Armstead ran incredible 40 times for their 300-pound frames on Saturday. Both offensive linemen are athletic freaks, but only one of those players vaulted himself even higher in the first round.

Many players, like former Southern Miss linebacker Jamie Collins, excelled in one drill, but no one had better overall combine performances than tight end Tyler Eifert and wide receiver Da’Rick Rogers. Both churned out top-five performances across the board in speed, agility and explosion drills.

The combine is only one piece of the puzzle in evaluating NFL talent, but pro teams will take the best performances of the event very seriously. An unexpected 40-time or a broad jump that leaps out will force evaluators to take a second look at a prospect.

We went position by position in determining the best performances at the NFL combine.
