It was only just over a week ago that we learned that the Celtics would be without (arguably) their best player, Rajon Rondo, for the remainder of the season. Since that time, Boston has gone 4-0.

Are the Celtics somehow a better team without their point guard?

That may be a question for another day, but right now we’re asking which player has stepped up the most in Rondo’s absence. Who has taken their game to new heights when the Celtics needed it most?

Jeff Green has been infusing Boston’s play with energy behind some thunderous dunks. Jason Terry has been shooting well from the outside and has taken some of the responsibility running the point. Courtney Lee has done well replacing Rondo in the starting lineup. Leandro Barbosa has taken on Rondo’s job of ball distribution.
