The Louisville Cardinals received more than just a pat on the back from head coach Rick Pitino after 74-55 victory over Villanova Thursday night. Instead, Peyton Siva and company were surprised by the 42nd President of the United States, Bill Clinton.
The connection between Clinton and the Cardinals is relevant. The longtime basketball fan is good friends with Pitino going back to Clinton’s 1996 University of Kentucky on-campus campaign, according to Deadspin.com.
