DeAndre Jordan, Brandon KnightBrandon Knight was the victim of one of the dunks of the year on Sunday, when he was in the unfortunate position of trying to break up an alley-oop dunk by DeAndre Jordan. The result was about what you would expect when a 6-foot-3 point guard tries to get in the way of a 6-foot-11, freaky athletic center with a reputation as one of the top dunkers in the NBA.

It was not pretty.

Knight did not run and hide from the situation, though. The second-year guard out of Kentucky even mocked himself on Twitter, jokingly placing the blame on the Pistons’ scouting department.

The Clippers are known as one of the best lob-throwing teams around, of course, which is something Knight was obviously aware of. He probably is not laughing now, after suffering a severe ankle sprain on Monday, but at least he seems to be keeping his chin up.
