Brazilian Soccer Player Johnny Dos Santos Karate Kicks Referee For Shoddy Timekeeping (Video)

Johnny Dos Santos might never play another professional soccer game in his life, but he has options if he is considering a career change.

Dos Santos, a player in Brazil’s lower leagues, karate kicked a referee at the end of a recent game between Independente Limeira and Marilia. He was reportedly incensed at the referee because the official only added four minutes of stoppage time, so the Independente player used his foot to let the referee know what was on his mind.

Dos Santos walked up to the official and, without warning, landed a karate kick to his shoulder. The referee reportedly suffered cuts to his shoulder and arm.

Dos Santos’ fate remains unknown, but a lengthy ban is certainly in order. He might be involved in legal proceedings, as police lead him from the field after the incident.

Perhaps he could pursue work as an extra in kung-fu flicks during his impending spell out of action. Or maybe he could use the down time to learn to think before he acts.

See the shocking scene in the video below.
