Bruins Have Plenty More Reasons to ‘Hate the Habs’ After Letting Lead Slip Away Against Montreal (Video)

You can’t win ‘em all, but you’d like to win as many as you can against a hated rival. The Bruins weren’t able to overcome the absence of Zdeno Chara in the third period of Sunday night’s loss to the Canadiens, allowing a one-goal lead to turn into a deficit while their captain sat in the sin bin.

In a game filled with chippy play from start to finish, Brad Marchand appeared very much in his element, instigating like he normally does and earning the ire of many a Montreal fan. The Little Ball of Hate was also able to tally three assists, however, proving his worth and cementing himself once again as a valuable piece of the Bruins’ attack.

In honor of Marchand’s three points, NESN Nation’s Dan Duquette is naming him our “Hate the Habs” player of the game. Who’s yours?
